Matchatation – unity in a sip
My childhood in Japan was marked by a delicate balance—being different, yet deeply bound by tradition. Traditional expectations often left little room for my individual voice, yet in our home, adhering to these customs was simply a way of life. It was during our family tea rituals that we found common ground. As we each sipped from the ancestral tea bowl, silence spoke louder than words, and our differences dissolved.
Matchatation is born from my desire to bring this tranquil tradition into today’s fast-paced world. I believe in the subtle strength of matcha to bridge gaps and nurture the sense of unity we all long for.
Through Matchatation, join me in reviving this practice, and let’s build stronger, more connected communities—one matcha moment at a time.
Gua Sha Gua Sha
Our bodies survive and thrive through flow. Thanks to the heart, blood circulates, distributing essential nutrients throughout our system. My work with gua sha focuses on identifying areas where blood flow is obstructed by toxins and using this ancient technique to dissolve the blockage. The body possesses an incredible intelligence and can heal itself from within, but optimal blood flow is essential for this process to take place.
